Speco Technologies, as the developer of the application SecureGuard Cloud for Apple^® iOS and Android devices, is fully committed to your privacy and therefore provides this as our privacy policy that governs the use of SecureGuard Cloud.

Please note that Speco Technologies may, at any time and at their discretion, change part of or the entire privacy policy. Any changes made will be noted on this web page. Continued use of the SecureGuard Cloud application constitutes an acknowledgment of your acceptance to this policy. The date listed at the top of this page will indicate when the latest policy has taken effect.

SecureGuard Cloud collects only the information necessary to provide the service requested including email address, username and password. Additional information requested is optional and used solely for the purpose of continuing the improvement of our service. All information you provide is kept in strict confidence and is not shared with any other persons or entities unless authorized by you in writing. Speco Technologies may occasionally use the information you provide to communicate service and product updates and statuses to you. You may elect to opt out of such updates at any time.

You acknowledge that by using this service, you agree that any device you connect to the service would need to provide the service with real-time and recorded video and images as well as certain information about the device such as serial number, model number, network information, device username, device password and log files. The service will also request information about your mobile device such as operating system type and version as well and manufacturer information. 

The application may ask for permission to use the following:

– Notifications (to notify users of the application of any events coming from certain Speco Technologies’ IP systems designed to work with SecureGuard Cloud)

– Camera device (for scanning of QR codes)

– Microphone (for 2 way audio communication)
