Privacy Policy – SecureGuard^® Client Application for iOS, tvOS, and Android

Speco Technologies, as the developer of the application SecureGuard Client for Apple^® iOS, Apple^® TV, and Android devices, is fully committed to your privacy and therefore provide this as our privacy policy that governs the use of SecureGuard Client.

Please note that Speco Technologies may, at any time and at their discretion, change part of or the entire privacy policy. Any changes made will be noted on this web page. Continued use of the SecureGuard Client application constitutes an acknowledgement of your acceptance to this policy. The date listed at the top of this page will indicate when the latest policy has taken effect.

SecureGuard Client is designed to collect no personal information such as e-mail addresses or device information. The application may ask for permission to use the following:

– Notifications (to notify users of the application of any events coming from certain Speco Technologies’ IP systems designed to work with SecureGuard Client)

– Camera device (for scanning of QR codes)

– Microphone (for 2 way audio communication)

For the duration of SecureGuard Client’s existence on an Apple^® iOS, Apple^® TV, or Android device, the following will be stored in the application itself:

– IP Address of Speco Technologies’ IP system OR unique ID of device stored on a Speco Technologies’ DDNS server

– Username created at Speco Technologies’ IP system

– Password of username created at Speco Technologies’ IP system

During the time SecureGuard Client is connected to a Speco Technologies’ IP system via the DDNS server, the following information will be used:

If SecureGuard Client uses the IP address of the Speco Technologies’ IP system for connection, no device or personal information is stored at the IP system.

Speco Technologies may provide information stored at the DDNS server to certain law enforcement and government agencies as requested.
