The first thing the authorities will ask is the perpetrator’s description. That’s why capturing details is paramount for surveillance. Our cloud service can capture and playback up to 2 Megapixel High Definition resolution which is 6x the pixels of standard resolution (SD)!

Plug and Play

An unlimited number of Speco cloud-enabled cameras can be added to each customer account. Add these plug and play cameras by scanning the QR code using the mobile app or by manually entering the unique registration number of the camera. Recording to the cloud is immediate once the camera is validated on the network and the image quality is set.

Users

An unlimited number of guest users may be added to an account for viewing cameras. User permissions based on camera labels can be defined for the purpose of restricting user access to certain cameras and groups of cameras. This is a useful tool for limiting user access to sensitive locations. Multi-user access is only available with the Business Plan.

Edge Recording

In addition to the cloud, video can also be recorded to SD cards. This allows for backup in the event that there is disruption in the connection to the cloud. In such situations, the camera continues to record to the SD card and may be viewed locally until connection to the cloud is restored.

Audio

Audio inputs to the camera can be heard when viewing live video and the same audio is disc recorded to the cloud along with the video. Audio is supported on mobile devices as well. An amplified microphone is required to be connected to the camera in order to record and monitor audio.

Health Checks

Automated health checks are performed on all cameras to ensure they are active and are recording. Emails that have been set up to receive notifications will be informed of issues discovered during the automated health checks.

Scheduling

There are certain times of a day when motion triggered recording is not desired to maintain privacy. Recording schedules can be set up to suppress one or groups of cameras from recording to the cloud during such times. Up to 10 schedules may be set up per account.

Notifications

An unlimited number of email addresses may be set up on each customer’s account to receive notifications of recordings triggered by detected motion. Issues found during the automated health checks will also result in notifications being sent to the appropriate party.

Mobile Viewing

Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android devices. Mobile apps allow full access to cameras on the go with the same level of features and security afforded when accessing cameras from a computer. 

Real-Time Video

Access live and recorded video anytime, anywhere. Video can be viewed from any desktop browser or a smart mobile device such as iPhone, iPad or an Android device. Staying aware and informed is never easier.

Labels

Each camera can be associated with a label to allow grouping of cameras shown on the recording timelines. Utilize labels to select between different groups of cameras to view. From residences to retail chains, labels are a powerful tool to manage cameras across a wide array of site configurations. This feature is only available with the Business Plan.

Clip Downloads

Video clips of an entire motion triggered recording may be downloaded for archiving. Alternatively, download an hour worth of recording by specifying a time range.
