Branding

Channel Partners can benefit from their company’s branding throughout their customer’s web viewer and mobile app. This is a value added benefit we offer our Channel Partners in order for them to promote brand awareness and customer retention. Channel Partners supply us with their company’s logo(s) in accordance with our image guidelines and leave the rest to us.

Customer Management

Deploy and manage customer sites and their cameras with ease using Speco Cloud’s intuitive administrative portal. Use the administrative portal to look up customer account details and access billing information. In addition, search and organize customers by name, user ID and email addresses and sort them by subscription plans, locale and registration dates.

Camera Management

Channel Partners will be able to manage their customer’s cameras from an administrative portal. View customer’s camera health and be notified of camera issues. Manually test camera connections and remotely re-sync the camera’s communication channel to the cloud should a problem arise. Most problems can be remedied with the remote re-sync, thereby, significantly reducing the need for site visits.

Subscription Plans

Speco Technologies makes available to our Channel Partners many choices in video retention period through two types of subscription plans: Business or Home. The business plan includes 24/7 continuous recording over the span of the retention period. It is designed for high traffic locations; generally where business is conducted. The business plan retention period choices includes 7, 14, 30, 60 and 90 days as well as extended periods of 6 months, 1 year and 2 years of video retention. The home plan on the other hand is designed primarily for residences where 24/7 continuous recording is not critical and motion triggered recording is sufficient. Choices for the home plan retention period includes 7, 14 and 30 days of motion video retention. It is important to note that 7 days of video recording means that only the last 7 days of recording is saved on the cloud. Recordings older than 7 days will be deleted and will not be available for viewing. The same applies to the other retention periods respective to the number of retention days.

Bandwidth Recomendations

Bandwidth utilization is an important consideration whenever large amount of video data is transmitted over the internet to Speco Cloud. A sufficient amount of upload bandwidth must be made available in order to avoid gaps in recording. The following tables may be used as a guide when advising customers on their bandwidth needs. Image quality may be adjusted accordingly to meet the bandwidth availability for more information.
