NVRP4 IP SERVER LIVE DEMONSTRATION | Print |

The NVRP4 live demonstration link located below can be easily accessed on a PC, Blackberry™, Android or iPhone™

Speco Technologies has developed multiple viewing options for remote DVR monitoring. These options include:

  • Web Browser viewing (Internet Explorer® 7/8/9)
  • CMS Software for viewing Multiple DVRs, and
  • Mobile software for viewing DVRs from an Android™, Blackberry™ and iPhone™

The server shown in this demo is the NVRP4 server, which can record up to 2 Megapixels per channel with the last channel being able to record up to 5 Megapixels. All NVRP4’s include free DDNS service, allowing end users to be able to conveniently access the server on sites with randomly changing dynamic IP network addresses. Simply type in the servers URL address, thus eliminating costly monthly charges for rights to keep the same (static) IP address.


The format for the Speco Technologies DDNS (the servers URL address) for the NVRP4 is as follows:http://SERVERNAME.DDNS.SPECODDNS.NET

For example, if the SERVERNAME is NVRP4, the NVR may be accessed via Internet Explorer® by entering:http://nvrp4.ddns.specoddns.net

Speco Technologies' DDNS service will automatically direct to the DVR.

Allow "ACTIVE X" add-ons to "run" This may be found in the information bar of Internet Explorer window.

Once connected to the NVRP4, your screen will display
the ‘live view’ of one camera. Press the Remote Console button on the right corner of the screen and the view will download the full viewer. This ‘live view’ interface allows PTZ control, Playback and Event Log viewing. It can also initiate snapshots and local ‘instant recording’.

iPhone™ VIEWING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Download SpecoPC app from the Apple iTunes store.
  2. Click on DVR List.
  3. Click on the '+' sign on the bottom-left corner screen to add a new site.
  4. Enter the IP address and Remote Console Port.

  3. Enter the IP address and Remote Console Port.
